The Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors (WSLS) is a volunteer organization dependent on its committees to do the work that needs to be done. The standing committees are created in the By-Laws to provide for the day to day operations of the Society. The special committees are assigned special tasks that are required for a special purpose. WSLS needs all its members to be involved in the committees. WSLS needs your ideas and input to succeed. Committee chairs will review the specific charges and discuss possible changes with the President. Meetings should be convened bi-monthly, or more often if needed, and recommendations prepared in writing for the Board of Directors. Those should be uploaded to the web site at least ten days in advance of each Board of Directors meeting. Meetings can be teleconferenced, contract the Executive Director for details.
