Committee Charges:

Liaison with the DOT for the purpose of working out mutual surveying-related problems and concerns
Liaison with the DOT on issues and concerns related to contracted construction staking items.
Monitor “prevailing wage rates”, TPPs and Trans233 updates and changes to the Facilities Development Manual that affect the surveying profession
Attend the DOT annual survey meeting
Present the CST brief from the joint CST/Education meeting to the appropriate DOT personnel.

DOT Committee

Greetings;

The DOT Committee will be meeting April 14 from 9-noon at the WisDOT Wisconsin Rapids office. We are still working up a final agenda. The current plan is to work on continuing education efforts, TPP requirements, Working with WisDOT on consideration of implementing a CST program, R/W monumentation, r/w conveyances. May 12 is the annual WisDOT Plat Users Group (PUG) meeting which Sean Walsh will attend on behalf of WSLS.
