Scouting Surveying Merit Badge Camping Weekend

Saturday, October 10th at 1PM - Sunday, October 11^th, ending at Noon

Great news! We have fifty Scouts already registered! Volunteers are essential to the success of this event! Licensed Surveyor Volunteers will earn PDH’s, and meals are Free!

Join Cliff DeTemple and his team from Turning Point, WSLS, and the Southeastern Chapter of Professional Surveyors for an immersive camping experience on October 10th – 11th, 2026, in Jackson, Wisconsin! 

This isn’t your average badge—it’s a high-tech adventure. Scouts will go beyond the map to discover how land is measured and how boundaries are defined. During this overnight event, participants will: 

• Master the Gear: Get hands-on experience with industry-leading measuring instruments.
• Create the Map: Plot and produce a survey map.
• Camp with Tech: Set up camp using GPS technology for a truly modern outdoor experience.
