Since its inception in 1960, the Northern Lakes Chapter has been guided by the constitution adopted in those early years, Article II of which states:

“The purpose of the organization shall be to promote the common good and welfare of members engaged in the practice of land surveying, to foster high standards of professional ethics and practice, and thus encourage public faith in the reliance of land surveyors and their work, to promote the study of land surveying, problems and the education of land surveyors.”
